In-House Lean Yellow Belt Program

As of March 1 2009, the Leading Edge Group in association with a senior panel of international Lean Consultants and trainers is offering an in-house Lean Yellow Belt certification program. This program will be delivered throughout Ireland, the UK, USA and Canada.

The Lean Yellow Belt program is the essential ‘first step’ to understanding Lean tools, practices, and concepts.

This certification program is a consecutive 2-day in-house training event that provides participants with a comprehensive overview of the principles of Lean Thinking. It also outlines and demonstrates the essential Lean tools and practices that can be applied within organizations to decrease costs, increase efficiency and quality of service, and improve employee satisfaction.

Up to 14 participants from your organisation can undertake the program. We will select the appropriate facilitator from our resident panel of Lean Consultants based on your geographical location and sector. 

You Will Receive

The program will incorporate classroom exercises and breakout sessions to enable participants fully understand and apply the learning in an interactive workshop environment.
You will receive:

  • Waste Identification
  • Value Stream Mapping
  • Layout improvement & Kanban
  • Kaizen
  • Visual management techniques
• Experiential Learning through the use of case studies, examples, games, exercises and brainstorming sessions
• Lean  Yellow Belt certificate of attendance from the global leader in Lean  education – the Leading Edge Group
• Formal Lean Yellow Belt certification from the Canadian Professional Logistics Institute (CPLI) or the Irish Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE) for those who successfully complete the examination
• Continuous Education Units (CEU’s) –IIE only
• Hand-outs and templates on VSM, Kaizen, MUDA etc.
