Module Content
Delegates who attend this program, will quickly understand
that by using the one piece flow principle, combined with
the concept of U-shaped cells and parallel lines, people
in the cell will experience improved and increased access
to more processes, therefore increasing their potential
productivity. This program will focus on the principle that
the part or service being processed is moved or transported
as little as possible. Excess motion is waste. Compressing
the space between processes is important.
By combining the concepts of flow and upgraded skills, production
and service processes can become much more streamlined,
and significant productivity gains can be achieved. Furthermore,
lead-time is reduced and the quality level is increased
substantially. This program will outline how these concepts
are achievable through the implementation of cellular flow.
The program integrates with flow process analysis.
